We always treasure a person who keeps his or her word and who values what they agree to do. We are grateful when we find people who are conscientious today. There is an uplifting feeling when we are confident that a promise is in the process from a faithful individual.
I want to share with you the most faithful, constant friend that you or I could ever have. Psalm 89:1-2
relates the same: I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth, I will make His faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that Your love stands firm forever,
that You have established Your faithfulness in heaven itself.
We can count on His:
Authenticity
Constancy
Dependability
Reliability
Steadfastness to answer our cries for help, Psalm 46:1 (a), because He is a very present help in trouble.
Truthfulness
I think of His dependability when we wake up each day. It looks like we saw that phase of life
before. It is true that we did. However, if this feat did not recur on a new day, we would be devastated.
One intermittent thought is the comparison of our body's longevity versus an expensive car.
Cars get tune-ups at intervals to keep them running well. Yet, the body serves for decades in
many cases without replacements. How awesome!
A functional mind is a prized possession. Maintaining our train of thought becomes more
cherished as we age. Recognizing ourselves and others is important. When loved ones
exhibit diminished interactions we miss the person that we knew.
